Forget Me Not

Claire and Stefan have been separated for six months.  When he is involved in an accident and the hospital calls her saying he is suffering from amnesia, she is reluctant but knows she is the only one he can rely on.  There is no one else since he has no family locally and few friends.   The last thing she wants is to fall in love with him again especially when Stefan starts to pay attention to her like he did during the early days of their marriage.  What will happen when he gets his memory back and remembers why their marriage broke up?  Can she survive another heart break?

FORGET ME NOT is about second chances and how an accident can bring two people together.  Stefan and Claire seem like two opposites on the outside but both come from difficult childhoods yet each came out of it differently.  Claire had her mother who gave her love and support while Stefan just internalized his feelings.  It took the accident and almost losing Claire for him to understand what love truly meant.  The amnesia gave him the opportunity to examine his life and discovers how sterile it was without her.  There are a few loose ends that I wish were addressed but overall, I enjoyed how it all played out.  FORGET ME NOT packs a lot of emotions in a tight package so bring a Kleenex when you read it.
