Markie Walkowicz has spent her life jumping from job to job. Nothing ever seemed to  be a good fit until she started her own business. Things were finally starting to settle down after being left at the altar when the dead body in the ugly suit showed up on her doorstep. Now disappearing bodies, the Port Richmond Brigade, and her ex-best-friend-turned-traitor Zac Marshall have conspired to throw her world into a tailspin. If it wasn't bad enough having half the city believe she was crazy and making up dead bodies, now her mother believes she and Zac are an item. What else could go wrong?

Detective Zac Marshall gave Markie eleven months to get over her anger at him for something he didn't do. He wasn't exactly broken up that she didn't marry the loser she was engaged to, but that didn't mean he wanted her left at the altar either. When the call for a corpse found at Markie's address came across the scanner, Zac thought his heart was going to stop in his chest. Maybe he'd given Markie too long to think about what happened and maybe it was time to force the situation. If only they could figure out what was going on with the dead body that kept appearing and disappearing at her house.

Zac and Markie must not only solve the mystery of the missing body, but come to terms with past misunderstandings, hidden longings, and a spark of attraction that keeps bursting into full flame at the merest contact. Can these two stubborn childhood friends find a way to overcome their fears and find the love that's always been there?

Holly Jacobs hits the laugh track again with this fabulously funny tale of love and mystery. Markie and Zac are a wonderful couple and the supporting characters are charmingly quirky and skillfully drawn. This book is a sure pick me up that will have you laughing out loud and unwilling to put it down even for a second. FOUND AND LOST is another delightfully comical tale from the talented Ms. Jacobs and an automatic buy for me.
