Nicky Lesdaux is an architect in a very specialized field: tree houses. Nicky's latest client is the hotter than hot record producer, Johnny Patrick. His little girl Jordi is going to get the tree house of her dreams, and money's no object. Now Nicky just has to remember to keep her eyes on her work and not on Johnny. Nicky arrives at the site one day to find the house in turmoil. Johnny's drugged up ex-wife has whisked their daughter off to Paris.

Johnny is furious. Lisa has always been irresponsible, but she's never taken Jordi out of the country before. He begs Nicky to come along as translator, despite her protests. For Jordi's sake she agrees. Nothing matters to Johnny except getting Jordi home. The trip to Paris becomes more than anyone bargained for when Johnny has to perform more than one rescue mission. In the heat of it all, Johnny and Nicky are having a hard time keeping their hands off each other. Will their Parisian affair remain just a casual fling or will it lead to something neither of them is prepared to face?

FRENCH KISS is a first-rate story from Susan Johnson. I flew through this book. It held me at the edge of my seat, first with concern for Jordi, and then with the titillating bedroom scenes. You may want to keep your man handy; you'll need him after reading this one.

Nicky is wonderful. I love her unique career choice and the way it adds to an already interesting plot. She is someone you can relate to. The way she tries to deal with being thrust into the world of the rich and famous is something I think all of us normal people can relate to. Johnny Patrick is a dream. Aside from being hotter than hot, and richer than rich, he is an excellent father. Any scene that shows Johnny interacting with his daughter Jordi is one that will tug at your heartstrings. Johnny Patrick is a lethal combination that no woman could ignore.
