Riley has become very good friends with Sam. When she tells him she wants to have sex with him, he is surprised and very, very interested. Only problem is, Riley is the person who bought the Diamond from Sam. She just does not know it yet. Riley knows he has to tell her but his desire is getting the best of him. But what will Sam think when she discovers the truth? Will Riley lose her friendship, and her love, forever?
Riley is such a guy: clueless, confused, and totally unaware of his feelings. He knows he is not doing the right thing with Sam. He wants to tell her the truth but he also wants to act on his feelings for her. Sam just wants a night with Riley. But when she does get that night, she realizes her feelings are deeper than she even realized. That scares her just as much as it scares Riley at first. It was amusing and sweet watching these two work through their commitment issues. Of course, I really wanted Riley to man up and tell Sam the truth. He definitely stepped up to the plate of love in style! Elle Kennedy makes her characters sexy, lovable, and realistic. I enjoyed this contemporary romance. These two made great friends but even better lovers!
