Sable Castle is helping a friend by coming back to her hometown to tend bar.  She is a photographer who is waiting for the big break that will eventually allow her to display her works in her own show.  The day that Gage Dougherty walks into the bar for his brother's birthday party, Sable's life is turned upside down.  Gage is set on ignoring the physical attraction he feels for Sable.  He is attempting to turn over a new leaf and playing bedroom games with the sexy bartender is not on his agenda.  Gage has started a new job, moved into a great house that he is fixing up, and he is ready to settle down with a nice girl, the kind of girl that a guy can be proud to take home to his mother.

Sable is a good girl even though she puts on a very convincing act of being a party girl. She decides to try to persuade Gage into having a hot, brief affair with her while she is in town. She is thrown completely off guard when Gage is determined to get to know her better.

Gage wants much more than a temporary affair and Sable, while she feels the same intense pull, is afraid to explore those feelings. When Sable receives a job offer in another city, she is more confused than ever. This job could put her on the path to her dream, but she does not want to leave Gage without knowing just what direction their relationship might take.

Ms. White has written an intensely sensual book with GYPSY HEART.  Gage is every woman's fantasy.  He is intelligent, handsome, successful, and always a gentleman.  Sable is feisty, self-assured and independent, all wrapped up in a voluptuous body that could bring a man to his knees.  Sable's gung-ho attitude is countered by Gage's calm sensibility and there is a wonderful balance between them. I recommend this book to everyone who enjoys sensual contemporary romance.
