Lanie is fed up with her family always trashing her. They always try to make her feel insignificant and like a failure due to her sex. When they’re not trying to set her up with losers, they’re knocking her down. She makes it a point to avoid them whenever she can. That becomes a problem when Lanie meets Jeff though. Jeff is her brother’s friend. Boys talk just as much as girls do and Lanie’s worried that she’ll never hear the end of it from her family if she hooks up with Jeff. Jeff has something up his sleeve though, guaranteed to get Lanie’s family off her butt so they can be together. Has Lanie found the man she’s destined to be with?
Carlotta had a brief office fling with
but broke it off because he was too geeky for her tastes. Carlotta should have remembered the old adage, “Never judge a book by its cover.”
isn’t as geeky as he appears; instead he’s very dominant in the bedroom and he’s about to show Carlotta exactly what good sex is all about. When all is said and done, will Carlotta submit to this god in geek’s clothing?
HANDS ON is an erotically charged adventure through life and love. Each woman has her own story and each one is filled with heartache, passion, joy and love. There is no way I could pick which one of the three were my favorite characters…Lanie, Lexie and Carlotta were each fantastic and witty and had me laughing my butt off from beginning to end. The men in each of the women's lives were just as amazing-they weren't letting go of these women for anything, whether they liked it or not. It was great seeing these strong and independent women finally brought to their knees by sex. Amie Stuart is an amazingly gifted author, and really made this reader feel like she was experiencing the story right along with each character. The sex in this delved into so many mixed emotions from lust, tenderness, BDSM, to a little love I think. A happily ever after is never a guarantee, and I loved the fact that Ms. Stuart didn't push readers to believe that sex equals love. Instead, she left it up to the readers to decide. I truly enjoyed the not knowing part of what happens to each of these characters five or ten years down the road. This way I could imagine their endings in my head. Ms. Stuart is without a doubt a must read author for me from here on out and I'll be eagerly anticipating her upcoming books!
