Lara McKenzie was blushing all over as she stared at the most gorgeous man standing on her doorstep.  He was all of six foot plus and a voice like smooth brandy when he says hello. Mark Whitman is a rogue reporter.  If he could capitalize on this interview with Lara, he was sure to be a shoe in with the magazine Total Man Magazine.  Amazingly, the tables turn on him when he expects a bookish schoolmarm. Instead he gets a drop dead gorgeous red head.  Lara totally forgot about the interview she agreed to do.  This interview was about her winning the anonymous fundraiser on how long a woman could pleasure herself.  Since Lara was an expert and has produced books about women and their pleasures she felt right at home on the subject. Yet she was going to kill her best friend for talking her into doing the fundraiser.  Normally, Lara was a person who kept to herself.  Mark kept insinuating himself in the doorway so she wouldn't close it on his face.  She finally invited him into her home.  She was nervous of what he would think about her.

Lara couldn't believe her eyes as Mark walked into her living room. He was her dream man.  As they proceeded with interview, Lara began to relax around Mark because she was in her element when it came to the topic of self pleasuring.  Mark and Lara began conversing one on one about: How a woman should pleasure a man and vice versa.  The interview was drawing to a close, Mark asked Lara if she would like to go to dinner with him.  She was shocked that Mr. I'm All That and More wanted to take her out.  Lara has never considered herself a beauty but other persons would tell you differently.  Lara has a little bit of a self confidence problem when it comes to herself.  Mark has his own ideas for doing this interview and that was doing this for his own self means.  As they get to know each other, a relationship develops in which they both learn a lesson from each other and what it means to compromise.

Eventually, Mark sends the article in to TMM.  The next day he receives a phone call he has been waiting for.  But there is a catch to getting his dream job.  He must convince Lara to do a monthly feature with him: Her point of view versus His point of view.

HANDS ON by Jaci Burton is beautifully written.  This is one book a reader should have on their shelf labeled: For Keeps.  The love between Mark and Lara is slow and sensual.  It is extraordinary how they can overcome their idiosyncrasies of themselves and let the love between them build.  Ms. Burton is an author that you will become infatuated with through her books.  I highly recommend this book to everyone.

This book is now available in the print book GOING THE DISTANCE - which also contains TWICE UPON A ROADTRIP by Shannon Stacey and COFFEE, TEA or LEA? by Ann Wesley Hardin
