Cate is fed up with her family trying to set her up on dates with incredible losers. Each one they pick is worse than the first. Pugg is the final straw. He’s a used tire salesman who only refers to himself in the third person. Cate is ready to scream when Pugg won’t stop following her around trying to convince her that they are meant to be together. Working in a bar has its benefits for Cate though. In trying to discourage Pugg, Cate meets Kellen, who pretends to be her boyfriend.

Kellen is an ex-cop turned recovery agent and he’s tracking Cate’s cross-dressing roommate, Marty. He’s sure that Marty is a thief involved in the theft of jewelry from over seventeen parties. With the help of Pugg, Cate, and her two best friends, Julie and Sharon, Kellen is on a mission to catch his man. Marty isn’t the only one Kellen is fishing for though. He wants Cate big time, and not just for a roll in the hay. He wants to spend the rest of his life with Cate and her new slobbery puppy. Will they catch Marty and his cohorts? Will Kellen and Cate get their happily ever after?

Murder, mayhem and tons of extremely hilarious characters, Boston will never be the same again. Janet Evanovich and Leanne Banks are phenomenal writing partners. They never fail to amaze readers. HOT STUFF is no exception. From beginning to end, I never stopped laughing. Kellen and Cate were sexy and witty. Such a match made in heaven between these two. The supporting characters were superb also, especially Pugg talking in the third person all the time and Julie with her southern fried humor.  The mystery surrounding Marty, the cross dressing lounge singer was so much fun. HOT STUFF is a reader’s delight. Full of mischief, murder, mystery, humor and above all, a few hot romances. This story is sure to keep readers enthralled. I am such a huge fan of these two authors and each book just gets better and better. I can’t wait to read the next installment.
