Ellie Bond's life changed drastically after a car crash one night two years ago.  The sole survivor of the crash, Ellie was left with a lingering head injury which has taken her short term memory.  Ellie has developed ways in which to remember things, but she cannot seem to move on with her life and past the pain.  Ellie decides upon a drastic change as she closes up her house and moves to the home of an executive who has hired her as a housekeeper and house sitter during his many travels across the United States.

Mark Wilder is a music executive who has had his share of women who throw themselves at him as they crave power and fame.  However, Mark is not, nor has he ever, really been into the "celebrity" world.  He craves the peace and quiet of a home and a family, but in his world, these are not possible, or are they?

Once Ellie arrives at her new home/job, she is welcomed by the warmth of the empty house and the beautiful garden in the backyard.  Ellie settles into her new routine as the housekeeper when one evening she hears a noise in the empty house.  Terrified, she arms herself with the closest weapon she can find and attacks the intruder only to find herself pinned down by a strange man who wants to know what "she" is doing in "his" house.  From the unorthodox way in which they meet to the days that follow, as well as the friendship and warmth that ensues, readers will clearly see the love that is developing among these two amazing characters.

How can you re-make your life after losing everything that is dear to you?   Can answering an ad for a position as a housekeeper to an important and very busy executive who is never home be the way to do it?   Ellie's and Mark’s story is well worth the discovery into these questions as the reader will learn if two people can "heal" the past in order to look towards their future, together.  HOUSEKEEPER'S HAPPY-EVER-AFTER proves that even after the most tragic losses, life gives us second chances to live and love again.
