Bobby Wayne loved acting. What he hated were the fake publicity stunts that seemed to go along with the job.  He didn't mind being someone else on-camera, but no one seemed to understand that off-camera he just wanted to be himself.  Jane Smith was Bobby's local assistant and liaison, and for once he felt like he was seen for who he was, not just what he was.  But can they pursue a relationship while he is under contract for this movie?

IF ONLY is a sweet, heartwarming, May/December contemporary romance.  The storyline is pretty classic; younger man meets older woman and they fall in love.  What makes this story fun is the demands of Bobby's profession and contract, as well as the publicity that surrounds him.  Jane is a pretty down-to-earth lady and is not really a huge fan of the young rising star, but in person he sets her libido aflame and she is not quite sure how to deal with that.  Bobby is a much nicer person than his publicity gives him credit for and we find that out as Jane gets to know him.  What I really liked about Bobby is the reasons he wants success—not for fame and fortune for himself—but to take care of his mother.  The romance between the two leads is sweet and sensual, the sex scenes hot and spicy and very basic.  IF ONLY was an enjoyable read and a perfect way to spend some down time.
