Lily Reaves is on the verge of becoming a celebrity shoe designer, and her business manager, James Chamberlin, has made it possible for her.  Lily relies heavily on James to keep her business running smoothly and to keep her organized.  So, when James breaks the news that he’s quitting and moving to Connecticut to open a cafe, Lily completely freaks out.  She’s scared to death that she’ll fail on her own, and she’ll do anything to change her manager’s mind.

Lily dives headfirst into her campaign to make James stay.  She tries several different tactics including giving James a pedicure and manicure, catering to his every need, killing him with kindness, and finally providing him with a normal office day.  Normal around Lily’s office is pretty much unheard of.  Her carefree assistant spends her days giving herself pedicures, prancing around in Lily’s shoes and shouting down the hallway.

James is ready for some peace and quiet, and he thinks leaving the chaos of the fashion world will finally let him do what he’s always dreamed of. But, James doesn’t count on his mounting attraction for his flashy boss.  He’s really starting to see Lily in a new light, but he can’t act on these new feelings, because a relationship with the boss is out of the question.  How can he resist the sexy diva who is starting to realize she just might be able to survive without him?

IF THE STILETTO FITS… is a fun and energetic romance!  These characters are laugh-out-loud funny, and it was quite an adventure watching them discover each other.  James is a great hero, and you won’t be able to resist falling in love with him.  I had such a fun time with this book, and I simply couldn’t put it down.   Wendy Etherington is wonderfully talented, and she’s definitely an author to add to your auto-buy list.  I know I will be looking for all her books to add to my keeper shelf!
