Private Investigator, David Bain, couldn't believe what he was hearing. He has to do what? Go where?
NO WAY !  This must be a joke.  But he's all ears while his boss keeps talking.  There's absolutely, without a doubt, no way he'll take on this undercover assignment.  First of all, it just doesn't seem right.  Second, he's wondering who is trying to pull the wool over his eyes. Is this a joke?  And last but not least, is the fact that he is NOT going to take this assignment.  He's just not going to do it.

When his boss begins telling him about the tragedies that have befallen Camp Illicit  - three women have been found dead in a short amount of time - David knows he must take on this assignment regardless of how he feels about Camp Illicit and what goes on behind those walls.  It's his duty to make sure that no other people fall victim like those poor women. Besides, what's he so scared about anyway?  He doesn't have to participate in the activities that go on in this land of plenty-he really doesn't.

Camp Illicit is a playground-of the sexual kind.  Oh, it has swings all right, and they are made for pleasure, but you won't find these in your local park.  Camp Illicit is where all of your sexual fantasies are turned into reality-their reality-his reality.  Wait a minute!  That's not how it's going to be.  But, in between those thoughts, David realizes he must do a bit of research. He doesn't want to go to Camp Illicit without a bit of education and knowledge. After all, knowledge is power.  Yeah, he'll just have to grin and bear it, and take a trip to Medusa's, a sex shop that's a ferry ride away.  Here's hoping he doesn't run into anyone he knows.

Once inside, he discovers a world he never knew existed.  Taking it all in, his eyes roam every inch of this tiny building and sees things he had no idea about.  Oh, the things he saw; pink, fluffy things, things that tied, things that had unique shapes, things that caused him to become so very aroused.  How can one person take all of this stimulation?

In a scene that made me laugh so hard until I cried, David's mom comes to his home unannounced.  I don't want to spoil the fun of this hilarious moment for you so I will not write another word.  Each time I think about it, though, I can't help but giggle.

Camp Illicit , I'd like to introduce you to Trevor Allen aka David Bain.  Trevor Allen, Camp Illicit would like to extend its warm hospitality to you-a greeting so wild and sensuous-it's an introduction you'll never forget.

Emily Watson, an employee at Camp Illicit , has a story of her own to tell; there's a reason she's working at Camp Illicit .  She is the woman David picks to spend time with, the one who caught his eye. What Emily soon comes to learn, though, is that David is not like the others and that scares her.  She finds herself reacting to him in a different way.  It's an immediate attraction but one she knows she must never accept.

They are both hard-headed and so very afraid of commitment.  It's amazing to watch them together.  You want to shake them so they will come to their senses.  While David is doing his undercover work his mind is doing a bit of investigative detail on Emily, too.

Yes, love is strange at times-you just never know where you'll find it, nor will you ever in a million years imagine how it will find you.  Emily and David have so much to understand about one another, but in order to do that; they must first learn what's inside each of their own hearts. Only time will tell if they can allow that to happen.

Alayne Warren, a new up and coming author, has written a first novel that's filled with intrigue, humor, and raw, passionate lust. Her way with the written word is priceless and tantalizing.  The sensuality with which she writes not only left me breathless but it had me hoping there was much more, and she didn't disappoint me.  ILLICIT BEHAVIOR is her first novel and the talent she's exposed will no doubt only take her higher.
