Zoe Martin was looking for a summer job, just until September when school started back up and she could teach again. So when her boss recommended her for a job working for millionaire tycoon Holt Hamilton, Zoe figured things were finally looking up for her. It had not been easy since her husband past away and she was stuck with his medical expenses. When Zoe goes to the interview she is met by Mr. Hamilton’s attorney Clint McCann who is arrogant and rude and the most handsome man she has ever seen. Clint takes her to meet Mr. Holt Hamilton, A dying man who wants Zoe to write his dearly departed wife actress Sarah Clarke’s biography. Zoe agrees to take the job and a week later moves to the Triple H Ranch. After she arrives she finds out that Clint McCann is actually Mr. Hamilton’s illegitimate son. What started out as a summer job quickly becomes Zoe’s worst nightmare. She is blackmailed into a marriage she wants no part of and she is falling in love with her step-son.

Clint McCann learned the hard way that love and trust were emotions he could not afford. After watching his stepmother’s deceit and lies destroy his father, Clint wanted no part of that. Clint could not believe the resemblance between Zoe and his stepmother Sarah and when Holt and Zoe announced their engagement he knew she was just like Sarah. She may be the most beautiful woman Clint had ever seen but he knew she was just like all the others, she would lie and cheat to get what she wanted.

In a world of lies and deceit who do you trust? Imperfect Paradise is an incredible story of how far a person will go to get what they want. Barri Bryan has created an emotionally charged story that held my interest the whole way through. I could not put this book down. If you like Mystery, Suspense, and romance you will LOVE Imperfect Paradise….
