Amy has been in love with Andrew since she was fifteen years old. She confessed to Andrew that she was in love with him then but Andrew told her she was too young to even know what love was. He was only eight years older than
her but her feelings were there. Now that Andrew was back in their hometown to live, Amy had mixed feelings. She was to be married to Andrew’s brother, Tony. It was a match that everyone thought would be great for the couple. Tony went along with the town and everyone else until Andrew returned. Now Amy was unsure what his feeling were and she was just as confused. She still had feelings for him but was afraid to be hurt again. She knew that the feelings she had for Tony were just brotherly feelings. Was she still in love with Andrew after all this time?

Andrew had been the star for the football team while he was in school. But an injury stopped him from playing for good. He went and moved to the city, taking Amy’s heart with him. He knew that she thought she loved him but Andrew told her she was too young to even know what love was. Now Andrew was back for good. He bought a house that Amy had secretly wanted when she was young. Andrew was also going to coach the town’s football team and open a health club in Yewbank. It was something the town needed and he would be closer to Amy. Andrew knew that he cared for Amy and wanted to be with her but he wasn’t sure of her feelings and she was still going with his brother. Could he convince Amy he was in love with her and that they belonged together? Was she still in love with him?

IRRESISTBLE CHALLENGE is a book that you will want to read until you are finished. I found myself having a hard time putting it down. I was intrigued by the characters and the plot flowed just perfect. Tricia McGill has written a great love story that will stay with you long after you are finished.  Andrew and Amy were just right for each other but with past hurts and confusion, it was hard to forgive and forget. Ms. McGill, I thoroughly enjoyed this book and hope to read more of your books soon.
