Cody Lang needs a husband and quick;
her father is coming to visit. She told him that she was married to get him off her back.Conveniently, Kipling Stanton moves next door and agrees to help her deceive her father. He figures it will keep his mind off his own problem, and it may help him keep a low profile for the time being.

After spending time with one another, Kipling and Cody start to fall in love. Cody's father doesn't have too many good things to say about her, making Kipling feel more protective towards her.
When Kipling's secret is revealed, Cody feels a deep betrayal. Can Cody get past the hurt to listen to Kipling and find out his true feelings?
ISN'T IS ROMANTIC by Ellen Fisher is a quick fun story that makes you giggle in parts. I loved the way Cody and Kipling's relationship developed quickly but intensely. They both have warm endearing personalities that draw you into the story. Ellen Fisher writes a light and quirky story that you will want to have handy for a lazy summer night on the swing outside. Readers can close this book with a soft smile.
