Force's IT'S ONLY LOVE, is the continuation of a wonderful series by one of my favorite authors. Past storylines and histories are included along with hints for future stories which keeps us up to speed. The quotes at the beginning of each chapter were thought provoking and about grieving and life since Gavin's darkness is front and center. The Abbotts are a closely knit family that run businesses together, have meals together and go to each other for support and friendship and I wouldn't mind being a part of their family. There are ten kids, their parents, their grandfather, cousins, many friends and Fred the Moose along with scenic descriptions. In this book the siblings close ranks more than once to help and support a brother or sister in need. We learn more about youngest sibling, Max, and his pending fatherhood as well as snippets of what's going on in the lives of the others. There were a few unexpected twists to the story, a happily ever after in the offing and nice closure. The epilogue gives us a hint of what's to come especially with their dad and grandfather once again up to their matchmaking ways although they didn't get a chance to do so with Ella and Gavin!
There's a blurb in the back of the book for the next book in the series, AIN'T SHE SWEET, which isn't surprising since there were several hints throughout. There was also a preview of the novella, YOU'LL BE MINE. I for one can't wait for the series to continue. With ten Abbott siblings in all plus a few cousins I hope we'll be back in Butler, Vermont, over and over again!
