Jemma Lovelace has a reputation in Jinks too, but as a woman who seldom if ever dates. She is not looking for anything from the males of her community, and forming an attraction with Eddie C is the very last thing in her mind. Then why is he the only one who seems to be ruffling her feathers all the time? Jemma not only finds Eddie C disconcerting but he also triggers long forgotten feelings of desire that Jemma would rather be buried forever.
This is a wonderful read from Kay Layton Sisk about a tender romance between one of the badest boys of rock with the quietest soul in Jinks. Touching to see that under the rough surface, Eddie C is actually a lost soul too, looking for love and a place to belong. A worthy sequel to LYLA'S SONG in the TEXOMA SERIES. Makes one wonders what else is in store for the rest of the bad boys of the Bone Cold-Alive rock band.
