Julie and Romeo Get Lucky

Julie Roseman and Romeo Cacciamani are a sixty-three-year old couple. They are not married and live in separate houses. They both come from large families and all they want is some time alone with each other. Then Romeo gets injured at Julie's house. The doctor says it's best not to move him, so Romeo has to stay in her bed.
Julie's daughter, Sandy, is married to Romeo's son, Tony, and they along with their two children live with Julie. Her eight-year old grandaughter, Sarah, is obsessed with the movie "Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" and lottery tickets, which she will go out of her way to obtain.
Julie feels overwhelmed, but to her dismay, things don't end there. Her forty-year old daughter, Nora, gets pregnant with triplets. Due to complications, she is ordered to complete bed rest and moves back home, taking up residency in a hospital bed in Julie's living room. If it isn't Romeo wanting something, it's Nora. Julie just wants some peace and quiet as well as some time to herself.
JULIE AND ROMEO GET LUCKY, written by Jeanne Ray, is full of humor, family, and love. Jeanne Ray brings the characters to life and makes them seem real. I enjoyed reading this book and would recommend it to others to read.
