The Miller family of Kinvarra is the talk of the town. Rose Miller is planning her fortieth wedding anniversary when inside, her feelings for her husband Hugh are crumbling and changing. Her worst fears are coming true. Hugh has been cheating on her. How long can she go on with the charade when all she wants is a chance to get away and to finally discover who Rose Miller is away from her family and the life she has lead for forty years. However, it's not as easy as she thinks it will be.

Stella Miller has just met a new man; a man who makes her heart beat in a way her romance deprived soul hasn't felt in a long time. But as a single mother, she has to be careful on just who she lets into her life. She wants Nick to be the man of her dreams, but as a newly divorced man, it seems his family is turning out to be the stuff of nightmares. Can Nick and Stella make a go out of their burgeoning relationship amidst the strain of previous family relations?

Tara Miller has recently married and she adores her husband Finn. However, lately he just doesn't seem to be the same man she fell in love with. He's drinking all the time, he stays out late at night partying with his friends, and he has a hard time expressing his feelings to her. Tara is at the top of her game as a script writer on a popular soap opera but it seems that Finn is dragging her down. Will Tara risk the love of her life for her career, or will she take a deeper look at Finn to find out what is wrong with him?

Holly Miller, as the youngest Miller child, doesn't know what she wants out of life. As a salesclerk at Lee's department store, she's taking her time discovering life. However, what she is really searching for, love, seems to elude her time and time again. Will Holly learn to love herself, and in the process, find the soul mate she has been looking for?
