JUST LIKE HEAVEN is wonderfully written and drew me right in.  With a small town feel and a family that is there for each other whether they really want to be in Sweetland or not I was once again hooked from the first page to the last.

Baker's JUST LIKE HEAVEN had all the Cantrell siblings once again in the forefront along with many of the townspeople we've met before.  While this is book two in the series there is enough background information to make it an enjoyable read and not feel lost if you haven't yet read book one, HOMECOMING.  This is Preston's story and he and his twin Parker's nickname is the Double Trouble Cantrells so it was fun to watch him let his barriers down especially around Heaven.  I loved the way Preston often said "Heavenly" when he was around her. How she could be so loving and fit in at the B&B and with all the Cantrell's given her family background and how she grew up was amazing and nice to see even when her insecurities and fears came to the forefront.  The B&B, The Silver Spoon, that they all own together sounds like a place I would love to visit.  The descriptions of the town, the festivities, the B&B, and the characters are so vivid I felt I was there.  There was romance, love, laughter, tears, heartache, sorrow, sadness, fear, a mystery to solve, and great closure with a nice but unexpected happily ever after.  There were several recipes in the back of the book that sound delicious - I might have to give them a try!

I am so looking forward to book three in the SWEETLAND SERIES, SUMMER MOON.  An excerpt was in the back of the book and just whet my appetite for more stories about the Cantrell family.  This time it will be Parker's story but there are three other siblings that will need their own stories too!  Come join us in Sweetland.  You'll be glad you did!
