prodigy Rosemary Wilkins has never fit in with her peers. Instead she has
always preferred to bury herself in equations, elements, and theories. When she
agrees to help the president of the Cooking
Academy by filling in as
a substitute teacher, she feels like a fish out of water. Her first class is a
disaster until one of the students step in with a question that gives her
footing. She is drawn to the charming chef and his canine companion, but not
sure if she wants to trust those irrational feelings.
Wes’s proposed study of aphrodisiacs together with Rosemary
scores him a way into her world. Soon the chemical reactions they are studying have
less to do with food and more to do with each other. Yet Wes’s past has done a
number on him. He doesn’t feel worthy to be with someone like Rosemary and
tries to hide that part of himself from her. However, he will have to confront
his issues head on and be upfront with Rosemary or risk losing her anyway.
Louisa Edwards cooks up another scrumptious read in her A
RECIPE FOR LOVE trilogy. JUST ONE TASTE was a delightful treat that I loved
settling own with. This final installment introduces a new hero and heroine
into the storyline while still keeping to the original setting and fun
characters from Market – the rising new NY restaurant. I wasn’t sure how I’d
like the heroine, but warmed up to her quite a bit. Ms. Edwards does a
fantastic job on making their connection seem genuine and producing the sparks,
despite their opposite personalities. I have truly enjoyed these books and
recommend the entire series. They are sure to keep you coming back for seconds.
