Carmen Cole is a charming reporter who is suffering from a broken-heart after discovering her best friend and fiancé in a compromising position.   However, she was even more shocked to learn their secret identities and has made it her sole purpose to unmask the superheroes’ and ubervillians’ true identities.   When she finally lands a top reporting job in Bigtime, New York, she believes she has everything she wants, until a terrible tragedy unfolds from her latest byline.    While being rescued by Striker, a superhero, Carmen is shocked to her toes by the sizzling electricity that sparks between them.    Will Carmen open her heart to Striker and allow love to blossom within?   Or will her pain from the past cause her to lose a man who truly loves her?

Striker is a superhero with the Fearless Five.  After the death of a close friend, he promises to keep an eye on Carmen and put a stop to her revealing anymore of his friends’ identities.   Only Striker was not prepared for the reaction of his heart and body to Carmen.   He knows he must stay away from her but he can not deny the feelings she elicits from him.   However, when Carmen is kidnapped he promises to do everything within his powers to rescue her.   Will Striker reveal his true identity to Carmen, the only woman who has captured his heart?   Or will he walk away broken-hearted in order to keep the truth hidden?

KARMA GIRL is a bone-tickling romance that will leave you on the edge of your seat turning pages quickly to see what will happen next.   Jennifer Estep pens a one of a kind tale that had me laughing out loud, cheering for a sassy reporter and grabbing tissues at the striking love story.   KARMA GIRL is a fascinating plot entwined with charismatic characters and humorous scenes.

I absolutely adored all the characters in KARMA GIRL.   Carmen is an awesome heroine.   She is sassy, stubborn and passionate.   I felt for her when her heart was broken and cried when she allowed Striker’s love to heal her.   I loved her “take no prisoner” attitude.   Striker is a mysterious man that captured me from the beginning.   He is sexy and compassionate.   Although he does not want to fall for Carmen, he could not deny the fire she brought out in him.   The secondary characters are just as vibrant and fun to read.   I had to keep reading well into the night just to see how they would play out in this enchanting tale.

KARMA GIRL was my first read by Jennifer Estep, but it will definitely not be my last.
