Bailey grew up with a mother obsessed with Elvis and it was handed down to Bailey. Everything in Bailey's world revolves around The King. Heading to Vegas to the Elvis Impersonator World Championship Competition to find herself a husband; Bailey's going to get much more than she asked for. How does a girl pick from all the posers who think they can be Elvis but really wouldn't stand a chance? They have to have his walk, his talk, his lip curl and baby, oh baby, do they have to sing like The King. Bailey has a run of bad luck her first night in Vegas; she gets stuck naked in the shower and a security guy has to rescue her. The guy is hot and causes palpitations for Bailey whenever she encounters him. She's not here for that though, she wants Elvis!

Connor's day job may be security, but he's bound and determined to be the last man standing in the Elvis competition. He's worked long and hard to get where he's at and he won't give it up without a fight. Little does he know there may be a little push from fate to help them along their way. Meeting Bailey has turned his life upside down. The little vixen is driving him insane. He can't get her out of his head. One would think that Connor was blessed personally from Elvis up in Heaven. Is Connor “The Elvis” that Bailey has been waiting her whole life for?

KISSES DON'T LIE was fantastic! I haven't laughed so hard in a very long time. Full of mischief, mayhem, romance and happily ever afters, KISSES DON'T LIE was one of my favorite books of the year. Bailey was completely endearing, sweet, passionate, witty and sexy. Connor was delicious, full of brawn, swagger and an irresistible charm. Now Bailey and Connor together, they were rip-roaringly passionate. The pages seemed to be on fire with the two of them. From the moment they met, sparks started flying. I really looked forward to a happily ever after for the two of them. The storyline was immensely engaging from the very first sentence. I’ve been a huge Elvis fan since I was a child myself so this story was all the better for me. Alexa Darin did such an amazing job at creating this story and making it seem so life-like for readers. I actually felt like I could see everything happening throughout the story. If KISSES DON'T LIE was this fantastic, I cannot wait to read more from Ms. Darin very soon!
