Lily's Surrender

Lily Weller is determined to see the subject of her childhood fantasies.  She goes to Marc Gossnor’s office to deliver a welcome basket and to invite him to have Thanksgiving dinner with her and her family.

Marc accepts her basket and, with a little persuasion, her invitation.  Thanksgiving is a little strained at times because Lily’s brothers are not too happy about her choice of a date…which isn’t a date according to her.

Someone not only wants Marc Gossnor out of town, but also wants him dead.  The person will stop at nothing, including killing anyone who gets in the way.

Griffin has been like a father to Marc since he was a young man.  He’s not too sure about Lily and whether or not she’s trustworthy.  The two men are at odds about her at times, but Marc sticks to his guns.  He wants her and will do anything to get and keep her.  Griffin reminds him that Lily would most likely not like anything other than a vanilla relationship.  Marc is out to prove him wrong and prove that she is a submissive in the making.

Marc and Lily begin a tentative relationship.  He slowly works with her to bring out what he knows is her hidden submissive nature.  Lily is not too sure she wants that sort of life, but he explains about a safe word and promises never to hurt her.  She agrees and he slowly takes her into a sensual world she never dreamed about.

Lily finds it interesting that her two sisters-in-law know something about the lifestyle, too.  She feels comfortable talking to them.  In fact, Lily gains confidence in all parts of her life and blossoms.

LILY’S SURRENDER is the third story in the REDEMPTION series and I’m going back and read the first two.  Liz Andrews and Lena Matthews weave a fantastic story of love, romance and vengeance.  Lily and Marc admit their love for one another, but she’s determined that he stop his journey of revenge.  Only then can they be happy.  Will she be able to do that?  If so, what about her family?  Her brothers will need a lot of convincing that she’s chosen the right one.  Doesn’t matter to them that she’s now a grown woman.

The suspense will keep you on your toes and guessing which one of the townspeople is actually pulling the trigger since it could be almost anyone.  This is a keeper and a must read for anyone who likes suspense.
