The title alone grabs your attention. The cover says it all and more.

Carrie Langdon is a college professor who’s happy enough in her life, teaching her students and doing her own thing. Dating isn’t on her priority list and marriage is even further down that list, if it exists at all.

There is a stipulation in her father’s will that requires her to marry or she won’t be allowed to collect her inheritance until she’s thirty. It really isn’t that important to her to claim it now. She’s perfectly happy in her own little world.

The will’s stipulation includes the name of the person she’s to marry - Justin Sinclair, CFO of Langdon Enterprises. He’s been in love with Carrie for as long as he’s known her. He convinced her father to add that to his will with the constant reminder that his daughter needed someone to take care of her.

Carrie offers him the perfect solution for not following through with a marriage. He’s not buying it. He wants her and is determine to have her. She wonders how he could love someone like her. She’s very drawn to him and would do almost anything to have his loving attention, but she must not let on that she does.

Justin sees through her resistance and makes it very plain that he wants her, has wanted her for a very long time. He reveals a side of himself that few people know about. Justin likes to dominate his women and he imagines all kinds of things he’d like to do to her lush body.

LOVE, HONOR AND OBEY is a short but emotionally charged read. Life-changing decisions are hard enough for someone who is unsure of herself, but to put the person in a position that will bring out the submissive who lurks beneath takes a lot of patience. Justin’s loving care as he took her through her journey was written with love and kindness. After all, the man is head-over-heels in love with the woman. How awesome is that!

This story is a must read but keep in mind that it contains elements of BDSM and is not for anyone under the age of eighteen.
