JoJo, the Reef Rescue driver, diver, boatman, everything, who met her at the airport informed her that Dr. Matthias Rowley was pleased that Dr. Gwen Davis was coming, as she had the best credentials of all the applicants. When she finally sees Matt, he is not pleased to see her. All he wants is for her to sign the divorce papers, and leave his island. He makes arrangements for her to leave the island after a couple of days, but that does not work out. Sarita has to save his life, figuratively.
Will Sarita sign the divorce papers and leave without a fight? Don’t bet on it. Will the beautiful island of Tobago keep Matthias in its spell?
I absolutely loved the heroine in this story. Sarita is an independent woman, not afraid of anything. She has earned her doctorate and intends on using it. Sarita has every right to be there on this Reef Rescue project as Matt does. He just wants to know why she sent in false credentials.
This is not your usual love story of boy meets girl, boy loves girl, boy marries girl. There is romance heavily influenced by the author’s spiritual needs of her characters. This is so delightful that you feel you know these people. This is a story that affected me so much I had to get the tissues out. I was extremely pleased to read this book by Roslyn Carrington, writing as Simona Taylor and look forward to reading whatever she writes next.
