Lili Alster was only at LoveMatch for one reason.  She needed a man to pretend to be her fianc é then break up with her.  Lili has been telling her family that she has had a fiance for almost a year now.  It mainly started to get them off her back about dating after her ex-boyfriend Ian died.  She really is not in the market for a man.  Lili likes her life just the way it is.  So hiring a man to pretend to be a complete jerk, and then break up with her, is the plan she thinks will be perfect to rid her of this lie.  Plus all of her family is expecting Lili to bring her fiance to her grandparents' anniversary week-long celebration.

Being a model for LoveMatch is the perfect job for Hal to make money plus still go to school.  Harold isn't the sexiest man that LoveMatch has, and is probably the clumsiest, but he does have a whole lot of heart.  He was extremely taken by surprise that someone as beautiful as Lili would want to hire him to pretend to be his fianc e for a week.  But a job is a job, and Hal really needs the money, so he will do whatever Lili wants him to.

Lili and Hal are already in an awkward position, but now that they have to share a room it's even more awkward.  Plus Lili can't help but look past the klutz Hal is to the sweet man she sees beneath. A jerk is what Lili needs, and as much as it pains Hal to be mean to her, a jerk is what her family gets to see.  Falling in love with each other wasn't part of the plan, but that's exactly what they ended up doing.  But will pretending to break up really mean the end for them in the long run?

This was an amazing romantic comedy.  Hal took more of the ugly duckling type of role and the more he was with Lili, the less of a klutz he was, and more of a romantic man.  It just goes to show that love can change you in so many ways.  Megan Hart had me in tears laughing at all of Lili's family with the things they did and said.  Poor Lili and Hal never had a chance around them.  LOVE MATCH is the perfect book for any romance lover.
