Luke and Mark Grey Wolf have been captivated by Libby ever since she first arrived in Temptation, but they know a skittish woman when they see one and scaring her off is the last thing they want to do. Seducing her is upmost in their mind and they grab onto the one thing she doesn’t seem to be able to resist – peace and quiet and invite her to their ranch so she can find that sort of freedom on the back of a horse.
Before Libby can make it out to the ranch her bike is vandalized and she decides to call on Luke and Mark to get a ride home. Before the twins arrive at the Ugly Stick Saloon Libby gets an eyeful of the sexual activities between Audrey and Jackson that has her hot and bothered, and quite frankly, primed and raring to go. The boys are walking a fine line with Libby who wants them but insists she’s not staying – and she absolutely refuses to discuss her past – one that will come crashing down on her at the worst possible moment.
The third title in Myla Jackson’s UGLY STICK SALOON, BOOTS AND LEATHER, meshes a fun lighthearted romance with the crushing knowledge that something is going to happen to mess it all up. Libby values her freedom and is so determined to not let anything take that away from her that she’s willing to deny herself a real home, family, friends or even love. Luke and Mark are playful but also serious when it comes to Libby. They’ve decided she’s the woman for them – and that’s that, but they have no knowledge about who she really is or what she’s running from. I have to confess I really like Libby; she’s a charming mixture of innocence and sensuality. Luke and Mark are just plain playful and naughty, and of course, sexy as hell. Luke and Mark’s seduction of Libby makes BOOTS AND LEATHER a positively sizzling book to read – and definitely has me anxious to dive right into the next story in the series.
