MacDougal's Rule

Seth MacDougal has a solid belief that an affair in the workplace is the number one cause for disaster.  His rule is the only thing holding him back from Maxie Travis, the police department's new dispatcher.  But Maxie has a body that makes Seth think some rules are meant to be broken.

Maxie has spent the last six months trying to get Seth to notice her.  Everything she's learned and observed about the handsome cop tells her he's the man for her.  Her outrageous plan to push him over the edge is completely opposite of her normal quiet behavior, but a woman's got to do what a woman's got to do.

Adrianna Dane gives readers a peek at the sexual tension between Seth and Maxie and her worthwhile stunt to lure Seth to her way of thinking.  Seth is caught between creating unnecessary awkwardness should their affair not work out and seeing if the heat between them is as explosive as he thinks it's going to be.  However, the stubborn man may need some convincing to take the risk.  I thoroughly enjoyed this story for Maxie's courage to go after what she wanted and Seth's realization that breaking his rule was well worth it.  Spend a moment with MACDOUGAL'S RULE and discover how Maxie gets her man!
