Seven years ago, Will had to set the one woman he loved free. Now, she is back in town, and he will do whatever it takes to get her back, even run roughshod over the poor sap she brought back with her. Will he be able to convince her to come back?
Brady had loved Madi for years, so when she asked him to pretend to be her boyfriend, he was thrilled. But what happens when acting turns into real feelings? Will he be able to convince Madi that he is the right man for her, or will the true solution be something much more creative?
I love a story that almost moves me to tears within the first few pages, and this one definitely did that. Madi’s pain over Will’s actions was so real I almost felt it myself, and that depth of emotion continues throughout the story. Ms. Brooks does an excellent job showing the rollercoaster that all three characters are on while they are trying to come to terms with their feelings, but she does a very good job coming up with an ending that makes everyone happy. The love scenes are also very emotional, and very well written. Well done!
