Dr. Cecelia Burns has her life planned out. She worked her way through medical school to become a promising cardiologist and she’s happily engaged to Jack, a successful lawyer. So what if her life’s a little boring, and her relationship lacks real passion? Boring is safe, passion isn’t. When Cecelia’s sister Amy shows up at Cecelia and Jack’s engagement party talking about fate and her One True Love, Cecelia fears her perfectly planned life is about to turn upside down. Amy has the ability to hear the name of a person’s One True Love. Cecelia long ago made Amy promise never to reveal the identity of her One True Love. Amy must break her promise because the name of Cecelia’s Love is fading; he’s dying and they have to do something about it.

Finn Concord doesn’t know what to think about the letter he receives saying he’s dying. He’s starting to think he should never have let his daughter Maya talk him into coming to Baltimore. Despite the fact that the woman delivering the letter is likely insane he feels drawn to her. When Cecelia explains Amy and her psychic ability to him, he doesn’t quite believe her. But if he is dying, who better to tell him than an attractive young doctor?

Cecelia and Finn have chemistry right from the beginning. Cecelia wants to deny it. She’s engaged to Jack and giving in to Finn means giving in to her sister, Amy, and the kind of life she wants to leave behind. Finn’s hard to resist when he does something as romantic as bringing her a picnic at work. She doesn’t stand a chance though when Amy and Maya are working so hard to bring her and Finn together.

MAKE ME A MATCH is a fabulous story from hot new author, Diana Holquist. I can’t wait to see more from her. I just love this book. Amy is a wonderful character that I hope to see in future stories. She’s a whirlwind blowing through people’s lives and shaking things up.

Watching Cecelia and Finn come together was beautiful. Everything happened so perfectly that you were never sure what was fate and what was a well-placed con. MAKE ME A MATCH deserves 5 blue ribbons, and I will be on the look out for all future titles from Diana Holquist.
