Tia Morgan has returned to New Orleans to attend the wedding of her best friend Rachel Shepherd. They haven’t seen each other in almost six years so she’s a bit apprehensive. Tia has lead a safe yet boring existence, but Rachel’s determined to help bring about a little change in her dear friend's life.

Tia didn’t know that Logan Summerfield would be attending Rachel’s wedding. He’d been her big crush and she’d even gone so far as to sneak out of her home to attend the Senior prom with him. In a reckless moment she gifted him with her virginity and she’s never forgotten him - nor has he forgotten her.

When Rachel picks up Tia at the airport, she tells her that Logan will be attending the wedding as Tom’s best man. In fact, Logan’s been asking about Tia every day since he learned that she’d be returning to New Orleans for the wedding. Rachel and Tia will be meeting up with the men at a restaurant but first Rachel insists that Tia change from the old maid clothing into something that shows a little more cleavage.

When they arrive at the restaurant Logan is so excited that he makes sure that he’s constantly touching her. He has no intention of letting her get away from him again, but how can he convince her that he’s sincere about keeping her? Tia’s honest enough to admit to herself that she’s in love with Logan and always has been but is she ready to put it on the line and confess her feelings to him?

Fawn Lawery brings readers all the magic and wonder of the streets of New Orleans during Mardi Gras with this short story. Readers will find it easy to associate with Tia - she’s repressed and needs a little excitement in her life which she definitely gets in a big way. Logan is a hottie and he’s so attentive to Tia that you just can’t help but be a little jealous. MARDI GRAS MAGIC is a fun lighthearted quick read that is perfect for when you have a little time to relax and read but don’t want to start a longer story.
