Sophie wants to let loose and sees the perfect way at the masquerade ball.   Letting down her defenses she has the most passionate night of her life with what she thinks is a perfect stranger.   As it turns out the man is the nephew of her boss and now she has work around him all day without revealing who she is.   Can she keep on seeing him under the cover of her masked identity?

Mac is helping his sick uncle and figures he needs a little fun when he attends the ball.   The woman he meets turns him upside down and inside out and he can’t help but want more.   Mac meets the woman working for his uncle and can’t help but like her.   Meeting his mystery woman under the cover of darkness, how can he choose between two women who are so different?

This is a tale of mystery and suspense even though it’s apparent from the beginning what’s really happening.   Sophie is mild mannered and sweet, but she also has a temptress waiting to get out.   Mac is a man torn between two women and has a problem figuring out just what he wants.   At first you are a little annoyed with him because he is so blind to what’s right in front of his face.   As the story progresses so does the heat.   Flesa Black has done a good job of writing about interesting characters and a thought provoking plot.
