David Shaw went to his cabin in the mountains to get away from the memories of his bitter divorce. He wanted to be alone, to think and try to get his life back on track. As he was out walking he met a woman that was ice skating on a pond. David was spellbound by her beauty and grace on the ice. Her skin was so lovely. David wanted to kiss her all over and make love to her. He tried to talk to her but she left without giving him her name. On Monday morning David was surprised to find the same woman in his boss’s office. There was a moment of recognition from the woman but only for a brief moment. Christabel Lockheart was in for a melt down. David intended to show her how he felt.
Christabel Lockheart is known as the Ice Queen. She is cool to her co workers and just wants to be left alone, until she meets David Shaw. There is something about David that makes her want to be with him. He makes her heart pound and her insides quiver. David’s kisses and hand are melting the block of ice she has put around her heart. Can she trust David with her heart?Melting The Ice Queen is a book you will not want to miss reading. David and Christabel are made for each other but neither one realizes it. David is determined to melt the ice that Christabel had put around herself but she is just as determined that David keep his distance. I had fun reading the short but powerful story. Aurora Black is a great author and I would recommend her books. The stories are heart warming and you will remember them for a long time. Thank you Ms Black for such a great book and I will be looking forward to reading more of your books in t
