Award winning author, Tanya Michaels, has launched her inspired series, 4 SEASONS IN MISTLETOE, with MISTLETOE BABY. With evocative writing, Ms. Michaels pulls her readers into a story so filled with emotions that they will be swept away.
Rachel Waide gave up everything to move to Mistletoe, Georgia, to be David’s wife and start their family. Four years later, failed fertility treatments combined with David’s history of making decisions without Rachel’s input have driven a chasm between them. Finally, Rachel decides enough is enough and tells David she wants to separate. The problem? David’s little brother’s wedding is just days after Christmas. Since they don’t want their drama to detract from the happy event, they agree to wait to tell the families until after the holidays.
David Waide is a take-charge kind of guy who deals in decisive actions. When Rachel asks for the separation, his response was to just let her go. It doesn’t take long for him to realize that wasn’t the right answer. Unfortunately, he doesn’t fully understand the problem so every attempt he makes trying to win Rachel back just adds to it.
When the pregnancy test pops positive, both Rachel and David have to evaluate their lives and their marriage to see if their love and the baby she’s carrying are enough to build a second chance on.
This book is for anyone who has ever had a significant relationship. Ms. Michael builds characters that are so vividly realistic the reader will not only relate, but will be sucked into the story from the very first page. There will be tears, laughter, and cheers as Rachel and David rediscover both themselves and the magic in their relationship. Ms. Michaels has truly raised the bar in this emotionally moving story. This reviewer will be avidly watching for the second installment in this brilliant four book series.
