Miranda decided a change of scenery might help, so she agreed to stay at her friend Paxton's beach front condo in Stamford, Connecticut while it was being renovated. After nearly a week of rewrites and research Miranda needed a break so she went to her friend Jane's paintball gallery where she proceeds to shoot four very alpha type males who also all happen to be cops. Miranda made such an impression on the cops that the one named Brian even asked her out for coffee but it is the one called Chas that Miranda can't seem to forget.
Detective Charles "Chas" Casey could not seem to get the beautiful, sassy Miranda Lane out of his mind. So when she asked him for his help in researching her new book he reluctantly agrees thinking maybe he can do a little research of his own; with the love scenes. What Miranda didn't tell Chas was that she had already asked the police chief permission to interview someone from the department and was denied.
The more Miranda gets to know Chas the harder it is to fight the growing attraction that she feels for him. Chas has made it clear that he does not do commitments and unfortunately Miranda does not do casual. Will Chas let his fear of commitment stand in the way of a lifetime of love with Miranda or will he let her walk out of his life forever, content to be MY HERO between the pages of her books?
MY HERO is Marianna Jameson's first published novel and I have to say bravo. Ms. Jameson is going to be a writer to look out for and I think we will be hearing a lot about this talented author. MY HERO is a sweet, sassy, sexy romance that I will be reading over and over. If you are in the mood to read a book that will make you laugh, cry, and sizzle I would definitely recommend reading MY HERO by Marianna Jameson.
