Archer is a member of Gentlemen Inc., a global male escort agency that caters exclusively to females.   He has just been handed an assignment that he’s sure will prove to be quite interesting.   He has one week to transform klutzy police officer Joan into an exotic dancer so that she'll be ready for an audition at a private club.

Joan Blair, also known to her friends as Calamity Joan, is willing to do whatever she has to in order to bring down prostitution kingpin Claude Laramee.   Posing as an exotic dancer is just the ticket she needs to get into his club, The Quicksilver, but the simple fact that she can barely walk and chew gum at the same time may be an issue.   To help her successfully appear to be a graceful stripper a trainer has been hired.   Joan isn't very happy about her trainer being a man - until she meets him.

Joan may be physically fit but she has no clue just how strenuous and difficult learning to pole dance can be.   Archer can’t deny that he’s attracted to Joan - she is female after all.   The sexual tension between them is intense right from their initial encounter and with all the sexy pole dancing they're both hot and bothered in no time.   They' ve got one week to get her routine perfected but it’s their extracurricular activities that prove to be an unexpected perk.

Joan's bound and determined to take down Claude at any cost.   Archer' s just out to have a great time for the next week with a beautiful woman.   When push comes to shove, will he be able to stand by and let her put herself at risk by going into the club alone?   And what will happen when she finds out about his involvement with Gentlemen Inc.?

Can I just say that I loved this book?   From start to finish I was enchanted by everything about this story.   The characters are charming and compliment each other beautifully.   I especially adored being privy to their snide thoughts about each other.   It adds a realistic and lighthearted feeling to the seriousness of the whole situation.   Archer’s 'nerdy'  friend Mel even managed to sneak herself into my 'memorable characters'  list.   She's so determined to track down the elusive Adriano, the founder of Gentlemen Inc. that it' s just a riot how he continues to evade and taunt her.

Nathalie Gray certainly knows how to tell a story that will delight and entertain but with the Gentlemen Inc. series, she takes us on a journey where anything can happen.   We’re no longer gals, women, or any of the other slang terms used to describe females.   We' re Ladies - with a capital 'L!'   I love this whole concept and can't wait to read more about the rest of the members of this exciting group of men.
