The story starts with Ella wearing clothes and milking Jack Sprat’s cow when all of a sudden she is attacked by Jack from behind. The next thing she remembers is waking up dirty and her head hurting where the cow had kicked her. As she stumbles home, she strips off her clothes and goes to bed. Upon waking she decides she wasn’t going to wear clothes anymore and the town will just have to accept it.

Ella is amazing. On market day she wonders through the town, naked, getting her goodies to take to Little Red Riding Hoods house. As she is visiting each of the merchants, the butcher, the baker, and the candlestick maker, she does “favors” for each to get what is on her list. The town even approves of what Ella does. Nakedella is happy with her life the way it is.  The merchants keep her happy in more ways then one and she does favors in return.

NAKEDELLA, BOOK ONE is a great addition to all the fairy tales books I have read. Nakedella will have you laughing and wondering what could happen to her next. You will not want to put this book down. You will meet all the fairy tale characters, all grown up, of course. Ella will not let you down and will keep you smiling all through the book. Viola Grace has done a wonderful job writing this fairy tale and I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
