Tripp Kowlaski once shared an alcohol induced hot night with Skylar and Gideon but regretted it the morning after. It’s not that the feelings weren’t there for them but he’s uncomfortable with the gay aspect of it. As a hockey player he’d be putting his entire career at risk if he were to acknowledge his desire for Skylar and Gideon.
Skylar Daveigh and Gideon Foley have officially become a couple since the night they’d all played a game of I NEVER. Even though they’re happy together there’s no denying that they don’t feel complete without Tripp. Shane’s gift and seeing Tripp again only reminds them of how good they were together and how unwilling he is to give them a chance to see where the relationship might go.
Skylar’s willing to welcome Tripp into their relationship but Gideon isn’t exactly ready to let bygones be bygones. Tripp’s rejection hurt and it’s going to take more than an apology for him to accept that Tripp truly wants to be part of Skylar and Gideon’s relationship.
Shane’s gift of a bottle of tequila for Tripp, Skylar and Gideon pulls all three of them from their safe denial and forces them to acknowledge what happened and their feelings about the current situation. Each leaves the party unsure of what will happen but the sexual tension is there and none of them are sure just how things will turn out.
Lena Matthews continues her NAUGHTY GAMES series with this scintillating tale. After reading SEVEN MINUTES IN HEAVEN I was really curious about the rest of the members of this close-knit group and exactly what went wrong that tore them apart. With I NEVER we’re treated to much insight into Tripp, Gideon and Skylar’s lives and there’s plenty of sexually charged situations guaranteed to send your pulse rate skyrocketing.
I’m now anxiously awaiting the next book in this series which should be Shane and Paige’s story and it promises to be very heated. Paige and Shane are both so determined that reading about them butting heads should be a lot of fun.
