Though a full year has passed since the break-up of her relationship and the cancellation of her wedding, Cecile still feels the burn of her lost love. Her demanding job at the local cinema takes up most of her time now and life is just one long round of errands and work. With nothing but her erotic novels to keep her company, Cecile is keenly feeling the loss of a man’s touch and companionship. But when she suddenly decides to take the bull by the horns and go out and get a man for the evening, that’s when life for our heroine really perks up.
Picking out her skimpiest of outfits, Cecile heads out to a local bar with one intention only. She’s going to get herself a man. With an attitude to match her dress, Cecile’s determination pays off and it soon becomes clear that gorgeous stranger, Ross, is on Cecile’s menu for the night. But can Cecile really be a vamp for one night and shed her inhibitions? Or will the nights events take on a life of their own?
ONE NAUGHTY NIGHT was a realistic look at a woman, whose life has fallen apart and who longs for the company of a man for one night only. I admired the character of Cecile and very much enjoyed the way in which she was portrayed. She has lumps, bumps and insecurities, just like most of us and I found myself really being able to relate to her. The story is told solely from her perspective, which I found to be a very refreshing technique on the part of author, Devyn Quinn. With great dialogue and some pretty scorching sex, this is necessary read. The twist in the tale was a great idea and served to enhance an already enjoyable reading experience.
