Jolene Springer is back in Sunrise, Arkansas only because of the letter her grandfather sent her, saying her mom and sister needed her. It has been nearly 5 years since she had left her family and friends behind and moved to Sacramento. Jolene would never forget; that horrible night 5 years ago that changed her life forever.

Will Bradley could never forget Jolene, he could still remember the date she left. Will and Jolene may have had their problems, but he still loved her. Will had dreams of becoming a doctor, dreams that Jolene had a hard time dealing with. Jolene wanted someone who would put her first in their life, someone she could share her secret with and would love her unconditionally.

Since she was visiting there her boss at the newspaper she works for, back in Sacramento, decided she should write a series of articles on the people of the Ozarks. He also said he wanted one of those articles to be on the life of a country doctor. So Jolene asked Will to help her on her article, as they spent more and more time together their feeling for each other start to resurface again. But when the past catches up with both of them, Jolene will have to make a choice; confront it or run away again…

Ozark Dawn is an emotionally filled story, with a group of characters that warm your heart. The twist and turns in the story kept me captivated the whole way through. Mrs. Drury has written such a beautiful story about love and forgiveness that I would definitely recommend, this book to everyone.
