Ben Jarvis is the manager of Hedo. It’s the perfect job for him. He gets to live in a tropical paradise, is well liked by everyone and there is never any shortage of willing women. It’s the ideal balm for the battered heart and wounded pride he suffered when he discovered his ex-wife’s betrayal. He is perfectly content with his life until he meets Tanner and Celeste and experiences feelings for them that have him questioning his own sexuality.
Ben’s deep respect for couples who marry and have the fortitude to remain married is the reason he created the Anniversary Package Deal. Part of the PACKAGE DEAL is a personal tour and greeting by the manager himself. Unfortunately, Ben is ‘busy’ with another guest when Tanner and Celeste arrive. He doesn’t introduce himself to them until just after supper when he rescues them from some overzealous females. Because he wasn’t able to meet them and he wasn’t able to invite them to dinner in the formal dining room, Ben opts to offer them a complimentary day on one of the catamaran tours. While it sounds like it would be fun, they’d really prefer something more quiet and intimate so Ben’s second suggestion of a day of sailing on his own sailboat really appeals to them more. Even more surprising is the simple fact that they both find Ben extremely attractive.
Tanner’s hesitant to hope that there’s any chance Ben may have some bi tendencies even though he is obviously an alpha male. Celeste noted the chemistry between Ben and Tanner and since they’re all going to be spending a whole day sailing together . . . well, there are definite possibilities there. The sailing venture proves to be far more eventful than any of them anticipated and they’re all soon left with some major decisions to make. Ben has to come to grip with his unexpected feelings for another man and Tanner and Celeste have to decide if they’re willing to risk love and loss again with a new partner.
Nikki Soarde really packs an emotional wallop with her latest release PACKAGE DEAL. Tanner and Celeste’s love for each other shines through the pages and in no way is it hampered by their enjoyment in bringing a third person into their lives. Ben is quite adventurous as far as sex goes but he never imagined himself falling in love with ‘another man’ and his wife. It brings everything he’s ever believed about his own sexuality into question. As a reader I just couldn’t help but loving this triad. They compliment each other beautifully, but I couldn’t help but wonder what would happen when the week was over and it’s time for them to all return to their ‘real lives.’
