Professor Brandon Louis is not looking for or is he expecting the young man who appears before him with the most ridiculous tale during his lunch session at the local eatery. He likes the life he has – albeit lonely and isolating at times. As much as he is not looking for nor expecting the young man at his table – he has certainly left him wanting.

Seeing the older college professor sitting down, Dominick Pappas is immediately fascinated by everything about the man. Always impulsive and never willing to take no for an answer, he approaches him and gets shot down before the words are even out of his mouth – for Pappas however no is nowhere in his dictionary and he aims to get this man.

With every book Jaxx Steel comes up with, he gets better and better. After reading PAPA KNOWS BEST I had to take a day or two to really think about all the things happening in this book.

Dominick Pappas is in a new town, new job and not willing to say die when it comes to love. He is open to meeting the love of his life or at least give it a fair shot if nothing else. As soon as he meets Brandon he wants him - immediately, and sets about making it happen, however not everything is smooth sailing as Brandon is not as receptive to Pappas charm as he would like him to be.

Long time professor and local grumpy old man, Brandon Louis, is not expecting more than what he has, he goes through the motions of life and feels like this is his lot in life. When a younger man shows some interest in him, he tentatively steps forward – but it’s a long road to expressing what he needs from this man.

Jaxx Steele has not only given us a story about the obvious, but he has taken two men at differently stage of their life, different levels of confidence and different expectations out of a relationship and puts them together with dynamite results. PAPA KNOWS BEST is a book with surprising depth and enough heartfelt emotion to make it a winner.

Jaxx Steele has worked his magic and his writing style is clearly imprinted on this wonderful read. He has created a magical tale of two men who needs and albeit dragging their feet getting to the ultimate outcome – they got there and it was a pleasure sharing in their journey.
