Kelly Jennings was with her boyfriend, Stephan Volski, for four months before she realized the tremendous mistake she made in getting involved with him.  By then it was too late to leave, because she was pregnant with his child, and there was no way Stephan would let her leave.  Now, a few years later, she's determined to do everything in her power to take her son and run.  Stephan is a heroin dealer, and Kelly must get out before her son is put in danger.  Her plan includes using Nathan Beliveau to make her escape.

It's been ten years since Nathan gave up a life of crime, and he wouldn't have been able to do it without the help of the Payback organization.  When Nathan joined the group, he was given the backing to make a new, crime-free life.  But, there was one condition:  he must pay back the organization by bringing down another criminal.  And, now he's been called upon to do just that.  Stephan Volski is the target.

Nathan is acting as the man who will transport Stephan's drugs, and Kelly sees Nathan as a means to an end.  But, that's before she gets to know him.  As the time draws near for the deal to go through, Kelly is seeing a new side to Nathan, the man she knows only as a criminal.  Likewise, Nathan is beginning to think Kelly is just an innocent in Stephan's criminal activities.  How will this powerful drama play out?  Will Nathan and Kelly find the ending they were planning on, or will fate deal them an unforgiving hand?

LOVING A LONE WOLF begins with a prologue that sets the stage for an intense and intriguing love story.  Author Ingrid Weaver sure packs a powerful punch in this two hundred and fifty page story.  The plot is solid and well planned to keep the reader hungry to know what happens next.  Pure and simple, this book is great!  If you enjoy books that grab you by the front of your shirt and screams "Don't put me down!" then LOVING THE LONE WOLF by Ingrid Weaver is just for you.
