Dean's PITCH PERFECT held my interest from the first page to the last but it ended a little abruptly for my taste. An epilogue or a few more chapters would have been great but at least I know the story will continue with the next book in the series. This is Tucker and Emmy's story and it was nice to watch their relationship grow. It was interesting to see their interactions with the other players on the team and how they supported each other. Watching Emmy take her place as the head athletic trainer to the team was fun to watch especially as she earned each player's respect as well as those in management. Simon was such a loser and I can't believe she wasted four years of her life on him. There was family, friends, teammates, sorrow, hurt, tears, fear, sadness, laughter, lightheartedness, wins, camaraderie, friendship, lots of romance and love. There was some closure but I needed more.
Dean is a new to me author but this won't be the last book I read of hers if her other books are as wonderfully written. I can't wait for book two in the series, PERFECT CATCH and hope there will be many more. I look forward to reading her other books too.
