Dana Cochran is living the sort of life people only dream of and she is having a blast doing it. She is happily employed and has two men in her life who satisfy all the areas that any red blooded women needs to be satisfied.

Mason Caldwell is every girls fantasy come true and he is just as apt at the game as she is, Jake McCoy on the other hand is the man of her dreams and she is only too thrilled to have him join in the game.

When the game goes a little too far and life marches on, all three have to face the music. Tragedy strikes and they don’t all share the same reaction, Dana is left with reservations and almost heartbreak as fantasies sometime never feel as good as your mind assumes it would, but dreams are the stuff that reality is made of.

I have been a fan of Shiloh Walker for a few years now.  There is just something about her style that calls to me. Her heroines are not the lay down and die sort of female, they take charge, they have fun and the heroes generally have a merry dance keeping them in check.

With PLAYING FOR KEEPS, Ms. Walker holds true to her trademark style. Dana is satisfied and she is having a blast playing her way. With two men in her life, what is there to complain about? However when the unthinkable happens will they both run away, will she need them or can they all stand up and face the music that is life?

I laughed out loud at this book, I cried and I fell in love with two protagonists that really deserves every happiness that they can get.

Kudos to Ms. Walker, a wonderful read and a wonderful insight into a little bit of her world.
