When Teagan has a flat tire on the first day of trying to get the kids to daycare, her new neighbor comes to help. When she discovers that it is her old friend, Brendan, she is slightly horrified. Back in college he had dated one of her roommates and after they had broken up he kissed Teagan one night. That was breaking the unwritten rule of dating a roommate’s ex-boyfriend. She felt that he ruined a good friendship and vowed never to see him again.
Brendan never understood why Teagan had been so mad at him. He had been in love with her back then and seeing her now makes him think that time hasn’t softened that feeling. His offers of help are rebuffed at every turn but finally Teagan has to give in when she has no other choice.
Not only is Brendan gorgeous but he is great with the kids. Teagan is having a hard time keeping the promise she made to herself so long ago. Together they are taking care of the family and she can’t seem to keep him out of her mind. Can she let go of her fears and let herself go to him?
PROJECT PARENTHOOD is a sweet tender story that will stay on your mind for a long time. Both Teagan and Brendan are such good-hearted people that you want them to fall in love and live happily ever after. Trish Wylie has created a warm story that you will not want to put down until you done.
