Heidi is all set to get married to the most incredible guy, Ed, and with just a few months to go, things go from great to hell in a hand basket. She’s so sure that she and Ed belong together until Ed starts irritating the heck out of her by doing some really wonky things. First his rugby team shaves off all of his body hair; his head, his eyebrows, chest and legs. And now, suddenly, Ed’s talking about wanting children and how perfect everything will be.

However, Ed isn’t the only male on Heidi’s mind. Seven years after they broke up, Steven has suddenly returned to town, a divorced, single father and ready to drive Heidi insane. Since he showed up, Heidi can’t stop thinking what if. As much as she loves Ed, she’s now not really sure that they’re meant to be together. Just when Heidi doesn’t think things can get any worse, Ed’s acting even more mysterious and every time she turns around Steven is crowding her. Which man will Heidi end up choosing? And will she make the choice before her wedding day arrives?

Quirky, sinful and tons of fun. READY OR NOT will leave you laughing for weeks. Heidi is a hilarious woman who’s caught between the two loves in her life and she’s stuck trying to figure out which one is the right one for her. Sometimes catty and selfish, Heidi is sure to capture your heart. Ed is the goofy, boy next door type of guy. At the end of the book, I was still left wondering about him. Through the whole book, I kept wondering what Heidi saw in him. He just didn’t seem strong enough for her personality. Steven, on the other hand, was superb; sexy, dominant, romantic and witty. A perfect match for Heidi. Chris Manby awards her readers with more characters and adventures to fall for in READY OR NOT. I can’t wait to read more books from this terrific author.
