Melanie Tucker had a rough start on life, but as the years gone by she learned how to fight for the things she wanted. She started over at her life with a new beginning, but she can't seem to get a certain biker out of her head. Her relationship with started out just sending friendly letters to him while he was in prison. He was lonely and not around. That makes it safe and harmless right? Melanie is going to learn that innocence doesn't have a place in the Reapers MC.
When I first started this book I was slightly upset. The prologue was a total spoiler for the whole book, if I could, I would have gone back and skipped that part until it was time to read it. Honestly, I knew what was going to happen, so that was a big turn off for me.
What I did like was the little author note at the beginning, but I think she could have warned us about the spoiler and offered for us to be able to skip it to a certain page. This was the only reason it didn't get 5 stars.
Other than that I loved this book, I know that if you are a Son's of Anarchy fan you would love this book. In fact, it is better then Son's because it is a book. I am not sure about you, but I love books over shows any day. I love to read about what the character is thinking, and you don't get that in shows.
I loved that this biker was an artist, that was such a major point for me. Especially since I also paint myself. It gives the story a little more of a twist and it something that could make you giggle like a school girl that was also blushing. This author had me laughing out loud and enjoying myself while reading this book Painter is such a sweetheart, even if he does stupid crap that gets him in trouble.
I just loved this book, and I could go on and on about it. Looks like I will be reading more Biker Romances in my future. If you know what I mean ;-)
