Michael has been hurt by love and his mother knows it. Michael decides to marry his girlfriend, Laura, whom his mother knows isn't right for him. Wanting what is best for her son, she decides to step in and play matchmaker. She knows the perfect woman for him. She sends him to her caterer's house, knowing they will fall for one another. They are immediately attracted to each other, but try to remain friends. The problem is that Michael doesn't feel he is capable of loving Kashmira, or any woman for that matter. All Kashmira wants is for a man, but not just any man, to tell her that he loves her. She wants that man to be Michael. All Michael knows is that he wants Kashmira all to himself, and the thought of her being with any other man fills him with anger and jealousy.

RECIPE FOR LOVE, written by Cheryl Pereira, is a wonderful story. It is filled with a lot of emotion and tension, just like a romance book should be. Once I started reading it, it was impossible to put down. As the story unfolds, it pulls you in and you feel as if you are becoming a part of it. Cheryl Pereira has created wonderful characters and you can feel their emotions as they experience them. You can't help but love these two characters and hope that they can get past the pain of the past and love each other.
